Hi there! This is me. The face behind the curtain here at Hey, Bunny Cates . My name is Bunny Cates and I’ve been blogging (and talking about books and crafting) online since 2000, in one form or another. Yes Bunny is my real name. No, really. It is my real name, not a pseudonym.
I am a forty(ish) mom from Kentucky. Additionally, I’m: an office manager, a company trainer, and a life long day dreamer. I like to say I’m a “Jill of all trades and a master of none”. Currently, I have degrees in both English and Business with certifications in: HR, Accounting, and Social Media Marketing. I love learning and constantly find myself watching seminars or enrolled in online courses.
I absolutely love reading and can usually be found browsing the shelves in my home library. My reading room currently houses over 5000 books. I’m a creative at heart and enjoy everything artistic.
Some of my hobbies are: drawing, painting, scrapbooking, and have been known to spend days focused on finishing huge crossword puzzles. My secret passion is writing and someday hope to see one of my stories on shelves other than my own.
